Doreen Woodford18 February 1926 – 31 December 2011Doreen Woodford, died on New Year’s Eve at the age of 85, in the Princess Royal Hospital in Telford, was a powerful advocate of the rights of deaf people and served as President of The British Association of Teachers of the Deaf between 1981 and 1983.
