Applying for BATOD Membership

To apply for BATOD Membership you will need to complete a membership application form.
The form can be viewed online, from where it can be printed, completed and posted to:
BATOD Membership Secretary, c/o 21 Keating Close, Rochester, Kent, ME1 1EQ

You can also request an application form if you include your postal address
or you may download the form from the website.

If you save the copy to your hard drive and then reopen the document you will find that it is typewriter enabled and you can complete the form electronically (click Tools, then Typewriter and place your cursor where you wish to type).

You will still need to send a signed copy to the Membership Secretary.

  • Current full members about to retire should notify the Membership Secretary of their circumstances by 30 June for the following year's membership, to enable the necessary paperwork to be completed.
  • Retired members who return to paid employment should inform the Membership Secretary of their changed circumstances.
  • Members with a change in circumstance or personal details should inform the Membership Secretary as soon as possible.
  • Current members about to go on maternity/adoption/unpaid leave can apply to suspend their membership for one membership year. This request should be sent to the Membership Secretary .
BATOD activities are funded from the membership fee and some advertising income. Colleagues who share Magazines and Journals also benefit from BATOD negotiations with government and other influential bodies - but they are not contributing financially to the cost of BATOD's work on your behalf!
