Retired? Part Time? Interested in Language?

Have you thought about training to become a language modifier working with examination boards (Awarding Bodies)?

The aim: to enable all candidates equal access to written examination papers by ensuring that the language of the paper is as clear and concise as possible.

The work involves either working at home modifying the carrier language of assessments or attending meetings at individual examination boards as a representative of BATOD. You will have the opportunity to work with examiners and influence a change in the language used in assessments. You are paid for all this work….. not a lot but enough to make it worthwhile!

It is anticipated that the course will involve a weekend of training and discussion plus online assessments. We need a clear idea of the number of people interested before we continue planning the course.

If you are interested in taking part in the training please complete these details and return the form.
