Salary Range: £45,213 – £49,937 per annum

Hours per week: 32.5 (100%)
Contract type: Permanent
Starting date: 1st September 2019 (or as soon as possible thereafter)

Working in the Hearing Impairment Team, part of the wider Special Educational Needs Support Services (SENSS), you’ll join a well-established team that is highly regarded by educational settings and other services/organisations in Oxfordshire.
An experienced, innovative and highly motivated teacher of the deaf, you’ll lead a small team of teachers of the deaf working in mainstream and resource base settings. With highly effective staff management abilities, you’ll have experience of successful partnership working with families and strong leadership skills.
You’ll have a positive ‘can do’ attitude, outstanding communication skills, together with the ability to think and plan creatively. Your ability to analyse and formatively use assessment data to drive improvements in outcomes for children and young people with hearing impairment is also essential.
You’ll also be required to fulfil the travel requirements of the role.
