Required to start in January 2018 or at an agreed date an experienced and highly motivated teacher is required to join a well-established team. The Team comprises specialist teachers and support staff working with hearing impaired pupils across Coventry. You will need to be creative, adaptable and sensitive to the individual needs of deaf children, young people and families.
The post involves providing support and advice to deaf children, young people, parents and professionals across Coventry in homes, educational settings and specialist resource bases.
A Teacher of the Deaf qualification is desirable, however applications will be considered from teachers with relevant teaching experience at Key Stage 1 and 2 who are committed to undertaking the mandatory training. Funding for this training will be provided. Successful team-working experience and excellent inter-personal skills are essential.
