Here at Babcock International we’re looking to recruit Teacher of the Deaf to join the team.
The purpose of the role is to work as a member of the Sensory Impairment team, consisting of Advisory Teachers, Advisory Deaf Inclusion Workers & Senior Sensory Advisor.
To be responsible for monitoring and teaching a case-load of children and young people who are deaf and hearing impaired
What do I need to do the role?
You’ll need to be qualified to Degree level or above with QTS and qualified Teacher of the Deaf
Would also like you to have experience in all or some of these areas:
• An experienced, Qualified Teacher of the Deaf or
• An outstanding teacher who is willing to commit to the 2 year training (Course fees paid for by Babcock LDP)
• Able to demonstrate a high level of knowledge and understanding in D&HI & SEN.
• A successful track record of improved outcomes for children with D&HI
• An excellent teacher
Lastly, you’ll need to have Audiological Knowledge and level 2 BSLor higher
