Teacher of the Deaf
1 Permanent post and 1 Fixed Term Contract (12 months)
Start Date: September 2019 or January 2020
The role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Teacher of the Deaf to work with an enthusiastic and dynamic team.
Location
Additional Resourced Provision for Deaf Students, Hendon School.
What we’re looking for
• You will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic person with good interpersonal skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• You will be committed to the education of deaf students in an oral/aural mainstream setting and with a willingness to take responsibility for audiology
Qualified Teacher of the Deaf status is preferred, but trainee ToDs or a person who wants to gain experience of working with deaf students prior to training as a ToD will also be considered.
Salary details
MPS: £27,596 – UPS: 43,348 plus SEN Allowance depending on experience
