Sarum St Paul’s is a happy and industrious school. We are a one form entry school with a designated resource base for up to 8 pupils with a hearing impairment. There are currently a team of five experienced teaching assistants working with the HI pupils who you will lead and manage on a day to day basis. We have an open and inclusive ethos where the HI pupils are fully included in all aspects of school life and are proud to belong to our outstanding school.

We’d like a teacher to join us who is/will have…….
 An appropriate ToD qualification or an extensive range of SEN experience and a commitment to undertake the appropriate qualification. If the successful candidate does not hold the appropriate ToD qualification, this will be funded by the school with a commitment to stay in post for a minimum number of years (to be negotiated)
 A proven knowledge and experience of current SEND processes, legislation and SEND code of practice
 The ability to raise standards and meet the needs of HI children of all abilities, including both able and SEND
 A proven track record of engaging successfully and sympathetically with class teachers and parents
 Committed to developing a creative and purposeful curriculum, differentiated to meet the needs of the individual pupils
 The ability to inspire and lead a team of specialist teaching assistants
 Enthusiastic, creative, passionate with excellent communication skills
