BATOD wish to advise employers that a Qualified Teacher of Deaf Children and Young People (QToD) must hold the mandatory qualification in deaf education (the PGDip and the QToD element). BATOD encourage employers to check certificates/transcripts carefully to ensure that applicants have got the full QToD qualification.
