New dates announced: Healthy Minds training for professionals supporting deaf children and young people

Following a fully booked and successful session earlier this year, SignHealth is delighted to share new dates for our Healthy Minds for deaf children and young people training.
This interactive online training is a fantastic opportunity for professionals who support deaf children and young people in education,  community, and health or social care settings.
The training explores key wellbeing challenges that can affect deaf children and young people, including:
  • Isolation
Participants will also learn and practise positive, practical strategies to support young people to:
Resources and continued learning:
As part of the training, participants will gain access to Healthy Minds for deaf children resources, alongside clear guidance on how to use the approaches confidently and effectively in practice. There will also be opportunities for peer learning after the training.
Upcoming training dates (online via Zoom):
  • Wednesday 30 September — 9:45am to 4:00pm
Both sessions are delivered online via Zoom by an experienced Healthy Minds facilitator.
