NHS England and NHS Improvement has launched the next phase of the ‘Help Us, Help You’ campaign which focuses on the NHS 111 service as a new way to access A&E/Emergency Departments. We are again asking for your help to communicate the important campaign messages to your audiences and availability of resources and alternative formats including BSL and easy read which are easily accessible on the campaign website.
The aim of this campaign is to direct people to use NHS 111 first when they have an urgent but not life-threatening medical need, rather than going straight to A&E. If the patient needs urgent care, NHS 111 can now book them in to be seen quickly and safely in A&E and help ensure that patients receive the right care, in a timely and safe way. We are also keen to highlight that the NHS 111 service can be contacted by textphone and NHS 111 BSL interpreter service.
We would be grateful if you could help communicate these messages via your channels including social, newsletters, and of course word of mouth to reach people who might otherwise miss out.
