The National Deaf Children’s Society has produced a short briefing on banding systems for SEND funding, in light of a number of queries that were being raised with the organisation about this. I am sure this will be of interest to colleagues.
The briefing, which can be downloaded here, sets out NDCS’ understanding of what the law requires in this area. It is obviously not a substitute for legal advice – but we hope that it will still be helpful.
