CHerUB project – Seeking input from parents

Posted in News

Please see below a request from the CHerUB project.

“Can you help us reach parents about a research study to better understand the challenges families face using hearing aids with children under 3?

Caring for Hearing aid Use in Babies (CHerUB) is a National Deaf Children’s Society funded project at ManCAD that aims to co-develop a programme of support to help parents establish consistent hearing aid use with children under 3 years, working closely with families, Teachers of the Deaf, Educational Audiologists, and Audiologists.

To do this, our research team would like to get a better understanding of families’ experiences, so we are asking parents/guardians of children aged 0-36 months (using at least one hearing aid) to complete an anonymous online questionnaire about their thoughts and experiences.

If you would like to support our latest research study, you can download our project flyer here to share with families, or if you are a parent who would like to take part, you can find out more and take part here.

For more information, please contact Dr Ciara Kelly on [email protected] or visit our website: www.cherubproject.co.uk. You can also sign up to our mailing list here to be kept updated.”
