DeafChildWorldwide will be running a series of webinars linked to their Unheard Children report

Their website explains …”In 2021 we’ll be hosting regular online webinars that bring together NGOs, academics, professionals and policy makers to explore the themes in our new Unheard Children report. Together, we’ll be discussing the challenges that deaf children face in some of the world’s poorest communities and the initiatives that can help transform their lives.

Webinar #1 – Language and Communication

Tuesday 30 March 2021 1.30pm-3pm GTM

Join us for an interactive webinar exploring the topic of Language and Communication for deaf children in low income communities. We will hear from Lorraine Wapling, an expert in early childhood language development, and a personal story from a parent of a deaf child.

Delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions of our speakers as well as spend time sharing and learning from each other.
