Deaffest celebrating their 15th anniversary

Deaffest is an international Deaf Film & Arts Festival and will return to Wolverhampton from 10th – 12th May 2024 – plus, this year it celebrates its 15th anniversary! 
 
The special milestone will be marked this year with a music theme and is called “Tune into Deaffest’s 15th Anniversary”.
 
At Deaffest there will be accessible events and workshops (including for children and young people), subtitled screenings, panel discussions, a stalls fair, performances, plus the widely anticipated 9th Film and TV Awards Gala and Late-Night Party!
 
New York Times bestselling author Nyle DiMarco will be joining Deaffest 2024 and there will be a meet-and-greet opportunity at the festival!
 
Deaffest supports and develops the talents of emerging and established Deaf filmmakers and artists from both the UK and from around the world. It provides a platform for creatives and promotes the importance of inclusion and diversity on stage, screen, and behind the camera. Visitors are welcome to come along, explore and be inspired by the talents and skills of D/deaf filmmakers, actors, performing artists, musicians, and more!
