Today, 25 February 2020, marks International Cochlear Implant day.
In 2017, Elaine Mukkaya from Uganda was the youngest CI receipt to speak at a World Hearing Day event. In Geneva Elaine and her father, Eddie, presented on the ‘Benefit of hearing care interventions: a personal perspective’. They continue to raise awareness and remove barriers through the non for profit organisation – Hear his Voice.
