Research recruitment request – oral deaf identity

Posted in News

Research recruitment request  from a Doctorate of Psychology Student at the University of Liverpool

Thesis in deaf identity

“I am doing my thesis in oral deaf identity (I appreciate not everyone uses this term but hope it becomes clear why I have opted to use this). I am doing interviews with deaf people (between the ages of 25 and 65) in spoken English up to 1 hour away from Liverpool or with the option of doing them online. The interviews would last around an hour each. The interviews aim to explore what it means to be deaf to you and how this links to how you feels about yourself and your life. I am happy to answer questions or provide further information if needed. Please do not hesitate to get in touch on [email protected] if you have any questions.”

Ethics number is 14718

Deadline – end of September

Open to the UK
