Study exploring the accessibility of healthcare services for people with vision and/or hearing difficulties

Posted in News

Information about a new study by the Department of Vision and Hearing Sciences, Anglia Ruskin University, UK, in partnership with Deafblind UK.

“The study is exploring the accessibility of healthcare services for people with vision and/or hearing difficulties.  Its purpose is to determine how accessible healthcare services are to adults with sensory loss, including deafblindness.  It is then hoped that the results will be useful in raising awareness to make these services more accessible.

If you are d/Deaf, deafblind or have hearing and/or sight loss yourself, please do consider completing the survey about the accessibility of healthcare.  Two different links to the survey are available and can be found here:

For a different format (e.g. telephone contact or paper copy) please contact Dr Eldre Beukes ([email protected])

Please do share with your contacts and networks to maximise completion of the survey.  Thank you.”
