BATOD is looking to introduce a UK wide mentoring programme for ToDs and QToDs. The aim of the scheme is to provide mentoring for those in the profession who would like a fixed period of support. This could be for those who are newly qualified, or QToDs who are changing their position from, for example, school for the deaf to resource provision, or those taking up leadership positions.
This free mentoring programme will be accessible to BATOD members.
The programme will be piloted and reviewed with the aim of providing a sustainable mentoring programme for the profession moving forwards.
