Volunteers’ Week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering.
BATOD wishes to give a big THANK YOU to all the volunteers who help BATOD operate.
Later this month the BATOD National Executive Council will meet virtually for one of four meetings per year. All members volunteer their Saturday to come together and contribute, on behalf of their nation or region committee, or as members elected by the full BATOD membership, often representing specific interest groups, to the work of BATOD.
The NEC representatives relay the voice of their nation or region committees and the membership at large. The volunteer work of those committees is vital to the support of many frontline BATOD members. BATOD expresses ‘thanks’ to each committee Chair, Treasurer, NEC rep, Social Media rep, Membership Officer, Secretary and the other roles held within committes. Particularly, this year, many of those committee members are embracing the planning and hosting webinars for our members.
