UK Auditory Verbal CEN – “Highlights from the 2025 AG Bell Symposium” on 5th March from 13:30 – 16:00 (GMT)
Description
This CEN will provide an opportunity to hear brief highlights from five key presentations delivered at the 2025 AG Bell Symposium. Five colleagues will each share a short summary of a presentation they found particularly relevant to clinical practice.
You will shortly receive an email with details of the five selected topics.
In the meantime, if you attended the AG Bell Symposium last year and there was a presentation that had a real impact on your practice, we would warmly encourage you to get in touch and volunteer to present it to the group. Presentations should be a maximum of 10 minutes.
We would like the UK AV CEN to be a collaborative and inclusive space, where everyone feels involved and encouraged to contribute—whether you are a student, early-career professional, or experienced clinician.
After a short break, we will move into a peer-to-peer support session, where we can share and discuss challenging cases together. If you have a child on your caseload you would like to discuss, please feel free to bring a short description or brief video clip. The session will be interactive, with the group sharing ideas and strategies based on your questions.
Finally, we would like to hear your views on the new CEN name: “UK Auditory Verbal CEN.”
- Does this name feel inclusive and representative?
- Should we consider alternatives?
We would also welcome your feedback on training needs and suggestions for topics you would like to see covered in future CENs.
