| Time Commitment

Time commitment will vary from month to month but there is an expectation that queries will be responded to in a timely manner, i.e., within five working days.
Most meetings will take place out of normal working hours. Some meetings will take place during office hours. Meetings (online) Approximately termly meetings with Mentor Steering Group Approximately biannual online group supervision sessions with trained PAS Mentors Annual training day for new Mentors Reports for BATOD SG If the postholder has been unable to contribute to the work of BATOD or a meeting related to the role for a continuing period of up to 6 months, beginning with the date of the appointment to/renewal of role, SG will consider appointment of a replacement postholder, to ensure the efficient continuation of BATOD’s work, following consultation with the post holder. |

Co-ordinate the administration of the BATOD scheme
Co-ordinate the volunteer mentor team Co-ordinate the mentor training |
| Key tasks
|
· Review and revise all documentation and training materials related to the PS Mentoring scheme
· Ensure these are kept up to date on BATOD secure systems · Ensure accurate, safe and secure record keeping on BATOD e-systems · Annual contact with PS mentors to ensure contact details are up to date · Respond to requests for members to become PS mentors · Respond to requests from members seeking a mentor · Partner mentees with appropriate mentors · Provide interim contact during each mentor-mentee partnership · Contacts pairs at end of partnership and seek feedback through online form and meeting if requested · Chair PS mentor related meetings · Liaise with BATOD SG as needed including providing regular update reports · Respond to external requests as required, with the understanding and support of SG · Liaise with course providers on an annual basis re: raising awareness of the PSMS for newly qualified TODs. Attend meeting with students if requested. · Escalate any safeguarding related concerns to BATOD SH and signpost to BATOD Consultant as required · Raise awareness of the PSMS to members in liaison with NEO |

· All documentation and training materials related to the PAS mentoring scheme maintained and accessible to those who need it
· Biannual online group supervision for PS mentors · Successful mentor mentee partnerships which are supported through PSMS Coordinator and Mentor SG · BATOD able to provide PS mentor across the range of contexts where QToDs are working · The professional knowledge and experience of the post holder is extended |
