Following the publication of our new book, Communication Interventions with Deaf People, we are delighted to confirm details of a free hybrid book launch event supported by City St George’s, University of London, in conjunction with Language First. 
 
Communication Interventions with Deaf People is published by Oxford University Press as part of their Perspectives in Deafness series and presents a unique collection of deaf and hearing academic and practitioner expertise on a topic that is not readily available to practitioners. The event will take place on Thursday 20th November 2025 across two locations as well as online. UK colleagues can attend in person at City St George’s, University of London, from 6.00-8.00pm (GMT). North American colleagues can attend in person at the ASHA Convention in Washington DC, from 1:00 – 3:00pm (Eastern). Online attendance will be via Zoom. Simultaneous interpretation will be provided in ASL, BSL and IS. English closed captions will be available for Zoom attendees. There are limited numbers, so book now to reserve your place.
