6th March 2026
10:00am - 12:00pm

Information from Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Caucus

“The EDI Caucus is funded by UKRI and the British Academy and based at Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh. We’ve conducted research over the last three years on how to make workplaces better for disabled and neurodivergent people, and people who struggle to manage menstruation or perimenopause at work.

We’re hosting a series of free training workshops, two of which will be led in BSL by Prof Jemina Napier of Heriot-Watt University. Here is a link to Prof Napier signing the explanation of these workshops: https://go.hw.ac.uk/BSL-EDICa

Enclosed is a poster with information, and the link to that video.

These workshops would be suitable for deaf people in the workplace, especially those who manage people. But also suitable for interpreters.

We have a series of dates – including two in person in Edinburgh – for hearing people as well. Full info and details can be found on our webpage: https://edicaucus.ac.uk/impact/
