This webinar will be of interest to Qualified Teachers of the Deaf (QToD), Speech & Language Therapists, DCAMHS professionals, Cochlear Implant centre professionals working with parents in the early years.
The EPID tool will be an evidence-based assessment for use with parents when communicating with their deaf child aged 0-3. It is based on evidence (a large-scale systematic review of 61 papers spanning over 40 years of research) and on practitioners’ expertise (a survey filled in by 190 UK-based professionals in deafness alongside some focus groups).
Come along to hear about the findings so far and the tool’s development. There will be an opportunity to feedback on the findings and the development of the EPID tool.
