Reclaim the frame “Want to invite you to join us for a virtual conversation with Marlee Matlin and director Shoshannah Stern, in support of their awards campaign for the documentary Marlee Matlin: Not Alone Anymore: Tue 25 Nov, 7.00pm. The conversation will be moderated by documentary filmmaker and Birds’ Eye View co-founder, Pinny Grylls.

The conversation will be live captioned, and BSL and ASL interpreted.

In 1987, Marlee Matlin became the first Deaf actor to win an Oscar. In 2018 Shoshannah Stern created, wrote, executive produced and starred in the critically acclaimed Sundance Now series, This Close with Josh Feldman, the first show to ever be created and written by Deaf people.
