Recruitment request – PhD study ‘self-efficacy of teachers working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH)’

Posted in News

Recruitment request to teachers of students who are D/HH, working in mainstream schools, special schools/classes or in the Visiting Teacher service in Ireland.

“Hello everyone,

I am a former post-primary teacher currently working in third level. I am also a PhD student in Dublin City University (DCU), and I am conducting research on the self-efficacy of teachers working with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing (D/HH).

I’m inviting teachers who work with D/HH students (across mainstream settings, special schools/classes, or the Visiting Teacher service) to take part in a short, anonymous online survey (approx. 10 minutes). You will be asked questions relating to student engagement, instructional strategies, classroom management, and professional learning and development (PLD) when teaching students who are D/HH.

Ethical approval has been granted by DCU, and consent information is included at the start of the survey.

Thank you very much for considering taking part. Please share with colleagues who may be interested.

If you have any questions or comments, please contact: [email protected]
