“Research shows that South Asian families may face challenges in accessing and continuing to engage with hearing care services in England for their children. As a first step, we are trying to understand these challenges from different perspectives by interviewing South Asian parents/caregivers, audiologists, and teachers of the deaf.
We would love to speak with you if you are interested in taking part! You can get involved by:
- South Asian families (Pakistani, Indian, Bangladeshi, Sri Lankan, Nepalese) -Taking part in an interview about your experience in accessing and engaging with hearing services for children –
 - Teacher of the deaf and paediatric audiologists – Taking part in an interview about your experience in providing care for ethnic minority children (including South Asian communities) and their families –
 - Professionals or community members – Supporting us reaching South Asian families throughout the project to encourage their involvement.
