“Tell us about live captioning at your organisation
The UK Captioning in Education Working Group is a collaborative project co-chaired by BATOD (British Association of Teachers of Deaf Children and Young People) and Jisc. It is supported by people from all four nations of the UK working to improve access to captions at all stages of learning, from school to college and university. The group is preparing guidance on the use of live captioning in education settings and we want to make sure it addresses sector needs. Your experiences and thoughts are essential to ensuring the guidance is useful. This survey is NOT about captioning recorded video. In this survey, captioning means live text displayed so students can read it in real time at front of class or on a device. This is also sometimes called subtitles. Unless you indicate that you would like to contribute a case study or quote, your organisation will not be named. Your personal data will only be used by Jisc to contact you if you have indicated you would like to provide more information. Survey findings will be presented as a summary in the final guide. If you have questions, please email [email protected]. Thank you for your time.
This survey closes on Thursday 2nd April.”
