We look forward to colleagues from across the SI sector joining us for this important working day with a single focus on the Government’s green paper in response to the SEND Review. The green paper, and the schools white paper, will have influence on future planning and delivery across all SEND provision, including sensory impairment.
Who is this event for?
This online NatSIP event is for managers and members of specialist SI service providers, including those in education settings, VCS, agencies and organisations working together to secure better outcomes for children and young people with sensory impairments.
During the day there will be presentations from:
André Imich (DfE) with a view of the green paper and the schools white paper
NDCS, BATOD, RNIB, VIEW and Sense on their responses to the green paper
Brian Lamb (for NatSIP) will consider the opportunities for a sector response to the consultation.
Through breakout discussion groups, we invite you to join in NatSIP’s SI sector response to the questions in the green paper, and to identify the challenges they may contain for your provision.
